In recent years, the city of Chinacota has become an epicenter for tourism and travel, due to its beautiful landscapes and natural relaxation places, which has given it the nickname of the “Beautiful House of Norte de Santander.” I conducted research on the subject and realized that although Chinácota is beautiful, this nickname falls short because, what good is a nice house without great people to make it memorable? I then developed a city branding process that would allow us to project Chinácota not only as a beautiful and attractive city, but also as a modern and global city, an interesting city, a city that has things to say and a story to tell; a city that is at the height of what is happening around the world.
Using a Colombian colonial house as a conceptual base (which is a symbol of the true Colombian spirit), the new Chinácota was born… The house of all, a home away from home.
